My name is Kevin Goodrich, welcome to my photography ePortfolio! I am a veteran having served in the US Navy and am currently a student at CSUMB (Cal State Monterey Bay). This blog originated as a photographic portfolio for my VPA (Visual & Public Art) minor and photography course. More than my work for that particular class is present here though, because I would like to display my favorite shots here over many different photographic endeavors as well. I have been shooting analog photography since my father gifted me his first SLR, the Canon AE-1, when I was 11 years old. I would describe my desired photographic aesthetic to be in the spirit of street photography, emphasizing aspects of the human condition that aren't normally addressed. Since then I have lived in Japan, served active duty in the military and put myself through university. Please take a peak through this gallery of my photography and hopefully in doing so you will be taken to new places.
Currently and for all photos shot in 2019 on this portfolio I have been shooting with a Minolta SRT202 on TMAX400 35mm film. My ePortfolio for my Japanese major at CSUMB is available here. |
